WHoopDirt.com 2020-21 NCAA D3 Coach of the Year presented by Pivot Analysis

Hope College Head Women’s Basketball Coach Brian Morehouse has been named as the WHoopDirt.com NCAA D3 Coach of the Year presented by Pivot Analysis for the 2020-21 college basketball season. Morehouse qualified for the award by being named as the WHoopDirt.com/Pivot Analysis Coach of the Week for Week 11 of the college basketball season.

Coach Morehouse led Hope to its second consecutive undefeated season this year, finishing 16-0 and extending the program’s winning streak to a school-record 45 games.

The Flying Dutch were the No. 1 team in every week’s edition of D3hoops.com Top-15 Rankings, and swept the MIAA Regular Season and Tournament titles. They won 14 of their 16 contests by double digits, including seven victories by 50 or more points.

In his 25 seasons with Hope, Coach Morehouse holds an outstanding career record of 627-90 (.875). He has guided his teams to 16 MIAA Championships, and has not lost more than five games in a season since the 1998-99 campaign.
