Pat Coyle Resigns as Women’s Basketball Head Coach at Saint Peter’s

Saint Peter’s Women’s basketball head coach, Pat Coyle, has decided to step down from her position to pursue new career opportunities, Director of Athletics Bryan Felt announced today. Coyle spent the past five seasons as the Peacocks head coach.

“I want to thank Coach Coyle for her five years of service at Saint Peter’s,” said Felt. “We wish her nothing but the best moving forward and thank her for her dedication to our program and guidance of our student-athletes.”

“I’m thankful for the opportunity at Saint Peter’s and wish them good luck as they move forward,” said Coyle.

Coyle became the program’s seventh head coach in the summer of 2013. During her time, she coached seven student-athletes who earned All-MAAC honors and 18 student-athletes were named to the All-Academic team.

A national search for Coyle’s successor is underway.
