These coaches are now eligible to receive the WHoopDirt.com National Coach of the Year Award presented by Pivot Analysis which will be announced at the conclusion of the 2019-20 college basketball season.

The Week 12 winners are:
NCAA DI: Raegan Pebley – TCU
Coach Pebley and TCU came away with a pair of tightly contested conference victories this week to improve to 16-4 on the season. The Horned Frogs opened the week on the road, knocking off Oklahoma State 72-68 on Wednesday. The victory moved TCU to an impressive 4-0 away from home in conference play. Returning to their home court on Saturday, the Horned Frogs used a big second quarter to take down Kansas State by a score of 65-61. TCU is in second place in the Big 12 with a record of 7-2 halfway through the conference schedule. They will look to win their fourth straight game when they take on Kansas at the Allen Fieldhouse on Saturday.
NCAA DII: Kim Stephens – Glenville State College (WVa)
Coach Stephens picked up a milestone victory this week as her squad extended their winning streak to 10. A 118-92 road win against Urbana on Wednesday marked Coach Stephens’ 100th career victory in her fourth season at Glenville State. After a 95-72 triumph over Notre Dame College on Saturday, Stephens has an impressive career record of 101-15. Her squad is averaging an astounding 110 points per game this season, the most in the NCAA, and is now in first place in the MEC. Now 16-4 (12-2 MEC) on the season, the Lady Pioneers will look for their 11th straight victory in a home matchup against Fairmont State on Wednesday.NCAA DIII: Trent Milby – Berea College (KY)
Coach Milby’s Mountaineers continued their dominant run through the USAS, picking up three more road wins this week to remain unbeaten in the conference. Berea opened the week Wednesday at Maryville College, where they came away with an 83-62 blowout win. They then traveled to Huntingdon where they earned a 63-54 win, limiting the hosts to just 27.7% from the field. Milby’s squad wrapped up the week on Sunday, facing off against LaGrange in their final road game of the season. The Mountaineers trailed by five at the half, but eventually came away with a hard-fought 78-76 overtime victory to mark their 15th straight win. The win was also a milestone for Milby, as he earned the 400th victory of his career. With just three regular season games remaining, Berea is 20-2 (13-0 USAS) and hasn’t lost a game since November. They kick off their final homestand of the season on Wednesday evening, as they face off against Covenant College.
NAIA: Tory Wooley – Point University
Coach Wooley guided Point to a pair of road victories by a combined four points this week as the Skyhawks moved back to .500 on the season. Point held off a fourth quarter rally to take a 52-50 triumph over Columbia International on Tuesday, holding the home team to a lowly 25.4% from the field. It did not get any easier for the Skyhawks on Sunday, as they found themselves trailing by seven entering the fourth quarter against Brenau. A 19-10 final quarter in favor of Point that included a go-ahead basket with four seconds remaining pushed the Skyhawks to a dramatic 65-63 victory. Now 12-12 (9-11 AAC), Point is back to .500 for the first time since they were 6-6. They play their final home game of the season against Tennessee Wesleyan on Saturday.
JUCO: Derek Marchione – SUNY Sullivan
Coach Marchione’s squad picked up three dominant victories this week, winning every contest by at least 33 points and extending their winning streak to 14 games. The No.19 Lady Generals began the week with a 110-60 road triumph over Dutchess CC on Tuesday before returning home to take on Fulton-Montgomery CC on Thursday. The contest was the Lady Generals’ closest of the week, as they came away with a 100-67 victory. Sullivan closed out the week with another impressive offensive showing, defeating Bryant & Stratton by a score of 124-76. The Lady Generals are 19-2 on the season, and will try to make it 15 straight wins in a road match-up against Ulster County CC on Tuesday.
