Tulane adds Critton as WBB Graduate Assistant

Tulane University women’s basketball announced the addition of Elizabeth Critton to its staff as the team’s graduate assistant.

Critton joins the Green Wave after finishing her collegiate playing career at Loyola University of New Orleans. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology in May. Critton played her final two season with the Wolfpack after spending one season at McNeese State and two years at Mclennan Community College.

During her time at Loyola, Critton helped the Wolfpack win back-to-back Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) regular season titles (2022-23) and the SSAC Conference Tournament championship in 2022.

Outside of competition, she worked with and trained young athletes through multiple positions and volunteer opportunities. Most recently Critton has worked with Sports Academy in New Orleans training athletes ranging in age from five to 12 years old while also volunteering with Kenner Angels Basketball assisting the head coach with all elements of coaching.

Critton will pursue a master’s degree in sports studies at Tulane.
