Head Coach Chanda Stebbins of Santa Fe College women’s basketball won her 300th career game on Wednesday evening inside the SF Gymnasium, as the Saints got past FSCJ by a 59-54 score.
The victory was the third in a row for Santa Fe, and it started the celebration for Stebbins and her team in front of a great home crowd on Career Service Appreciation Night.
Several Santa Fe College staff members were on hand to be honored and recognized at halftime for their efforts, and Stebbins, in her 21st season at SF, was honored postgame with a 300-win plaque and a water bottle shower from her team as well
Stebbins is her 20th season as the head coach at Santa Fe. During her tenure, she has won the Mid-Florida Conference six times and made the state/regional tournament 12 times in the last 16 seasons. Additionally, Stebbins has been named the coach of the year in the Mid-Florida Conference on six occasions.
