Under the direct supervision of the Associate Athletic Director, the Head Women’s Basketball Coach will be responsible for:

1. Recruiting and retaining qualified student-athletes to compete in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) and be among the top programs within the league

2. Overseeing scheduling, practice planning, game-day operations, and travel

3. Overseeing the overall administration of the women’s basketball program, including the recommendation for hire and supervision of coaching staff

4. Overseeing and managing the program’s scholarship, operational, and recruitment budget

5. Understanding and following the rules, regulations, and protocol of the University, GLVC and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)

6. Connecting with alumni of the program including but not limited to opportunities to meet with the head coach, invitations to appropriate team activities and other stewardship activities
