University of Wisconsin-La Crosse head women’s basketball coach Lois Heeren has announced she is stepping down as the Eagles’ coach after completing her 17th season in 2015-16. Heeren will continue to teach in UWL’s Exercise and Sport Science Department. “It has been a privilege working with outstanding student-athletes over the past 17 years on the women’s basketball team,” said Heeren.
