HOT: Wisconsin-La Crosse Head Women’s basketball Coach Lois Heeren Resigns

University of Wisconsin-La Crosse head women’s basketball coach Lois Heeren has announced she is stepping down as the Eagles’ coach after completing her 17th season in 2015-16. Heeren will continue to teach in UWL’s Exercise and Sport Science Department. “It has been a privilege working with outstanding student-athletes over the past 17 years on the women’s basketball team,” said Heeren.

BREAKING: Evansville Head Coach Oties Epps to Resign

Multiple sources have now told WHoopDirt.com that Evansville head coach Oties Epps will resign effective immediately and assistant coach Matt Ruffing will coach the team for the remainder of the season.  Evansville is currently 2-25 this season (1-15) giving Epps a record of 44-106 since he became the head coach in 2011. With the victory, Villanova improves to 17-10 overall and 10-6 in Big East play, while Georgetown falls to 14-12 overall and 7-9 in league play.
