Chicago State University is ending its contract with women’s basketball head coach Andrea Williams, effective immediately. Williams was hired July 1, 2022 and posted a 7-48 record during her time with the Cougars.
The university will conduct a national search to identify the next leader of the women’s basketball program.
“I want to thank Coach Williams for her service to Chicago State and to our student-athletes over the past two seasons,” said Dr. Monique Carroll, Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. “We wish Coach Williams all of the best in her future endeavors.”
