Erickson named Head Women’s Basketball Coach at NAIA College of Idaho

 College of Idaho Vice President of Athletics Reagan Rossi announced Kyle Erickson as the new head women’s basketball coach.

“We are thrilled to bring Kyle and his family into The College of Idaho community,” said Rossi. “We look forward to Kyle leading our women’s basketball team as his vision helps in developing success for our student-athletes both on and off the court.”

Erickson comes to College of Idaho after being instrumental in the turnaround as the top assistant coach at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon for the last four years. In his time with the Boxers, he helped lead Pacific to back-to-back appearances in the Northwest Conference Championship game and seven all-NWC recipients with three earning first team honors. In four seasons, Pacific finished in the top three in the conference on three occasions. Erickson was actively involved in the recruiting, academic excellence and culture creation of the program.

I can’t wait to get started and connecting with the fans, students, faculty and staff which make this place special.”

Prior to coaching at Pacific, the Broadview, Montana native was on the coaching staff at his alma mater, the University of Montana Western and the staff at Rocky Mountain College as well as time on the men’s side at Montana State University-Billings and Miles City Community College.

Erickson and his wife, Ali are the proud parents of a son, Enzo.
