Saint Peter’s University Women’s Basketball Staff Update

Saint Peter’s University women’s basketball coach Jen Leedham announced her coaching staff today, as David Jollon joins the Peacocks as an Associate Head Coach while Jason Marshall and Johannah Leedham join as Assistant Coaches.

“I am really excited about our staff,” Leedham said. “They have all had success in their own right and I think they all embody the core values of Saint Peter’s University. They are passionate about coaching women’s basketball and empowering young women on and off the court. I can’t wait to begin this journey with them and take the women’s basketball program to new levels on and off the court.”

Jollon joins the Peacocks after previously serving as an Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator for seven years at MAAC rival Fairfield University. Jollon was in charge of implementing Fairfield’s motion offense, as well as overseeing the zone defense. Last season, he was also tasked with post player development.

“David is a great person who brings a great deal of winning experience to our program, he has coached in the MAAC and had an abundance of success on and off the court. He is a veteran coach who is passionate about coaching and the well being of the student athletes. His core values align with the vision for the program and I am thrilled for him to be a part of our program.”

Marshall joins the coaching staff after spending the last seven years as an assistant coach at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU). At CCSU, Marshall primarily worked with perimeter players and assisted in recruiting efforts. He also has Division I experience, as he was a member of staff at both Binghamton and Army.

“Jason is a major asset to our program, he is a local jersey guy that brings a wealth of knowledge on the court. The connections that he has and continues to build will only help us get to the next level. He brings experience and energy which I know will enhance our program.”

Johannah Leedham-Warner, who is the sister of head coach Jen Leedham, comes to Saint Peter’s with over 12 years of professional basketball experience, with her most recent stint coming in the WBBL and EuroCup Women for the London Lions. She won multiple Championships in France, Poland and England, as well as picking up numerous individual accolades during her playing career.

“I couldn’t be more excited to add Johannah to our staff. She has just finished an impressive playing career overseas and will bring a wealth of knowledge especially in the player development area. With her international ties as well as playing at the highest level being an Olympian she will certainly bring a lot of passion to our program on a daily basis.”
