ASA Brooklyn announces Dulin as Head Women’s Basketball Coach

The ASA Brooklyn Avengers announces Anthony Dulin as the new women’s basketball head coach as the Avengers restart the program for the 2019-20 after last season’s hiatus.

“I am excited to get to work to recapture the program to national prominence,” said Anthony Dulin.

Anthony Dulin began his basketball coaching career nearly 15 years ago serving as the Boys Junior Varsity Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach at Forest Hills High School, NY.

At the present time, Coach Dulin is entering his first season at the helm of the ASA Women’s Basketball program after spending the last two seasons as an assistant coach for the Women’s Basketball program at The Mary Louis Academy (TMLA) in Queens, NY. It has always been his missionto cultivate an environment for young women that not only share the love for the game but, who strive for athletic and academic excellence.

Prior to his time at TMLA, Coach Dulin was integral in the inception of the Men’s Basketball program at LaGuardia Community College, NY, serving as the Associate Head Coach from 2013-2017. In a relatively short amount of time, he helped develop a program that experienced a substantial amount of success culminating in back to back CUNYAC championships in 2016 and 2017.

Whether on the women’s or men’s side, Coach Dulin has made a commitment to developing the basketball knowledge and moral character of the young men or women of the program he serves. Many of his student athletes have later went on to play professionally and on all collegiate levels.

As an undergraduate student, Coach Dulin played Division I basketball for Delaware State University where he completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.  He continued his education at Queens College securing a Master’s Degree in Special Education.

Coach Dulin currently resides in Baldwin, NY with his wife Dr. Dashana Dulin and their three children Payton, Miles, and Kennedy.
