Bay Path University is proud to announce that Taryn Roy will become the new Head Basketball Coach.
Roy is a recent college graduate who played Division III basketball for Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). She graduated from WPI with a degree in Biochemistry, a minor in Biology and is continuing her education with a Master’s in Public Health from George Washington University.
Prior to college, she graduated from East Catholic High School in 2011 and received All-Conference her senior year in basketball and volleyball. Roy has also played for the AAU Basketball Organization, CT Starters. Although straight out of college, Roy has a lot of coaching experience. She has coached many Youth Basketball clinics, was an assistant coach for the local girls travel team, and coached summer camps, including the Youth WPI Basketball Camp.
Previously she was the assistant coach for Bay Path University during the 2015-2016 season where she worked in practice organization, scouting and game strategy. She has a passion for coaching basketball and is dedicated to bringing the Bay Path Basketball Program many successful seasons!
