Zarzutzki Named Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach Grinnell College

Kori Zarzutzki has joined the Grinnell College women’s basketball staff as an assistant coach.

Zarzutzki comes to Grinnell after serving as an assistant coach for two seasons at Manhattan Christian College in Manhattan, Kan. Prior to coaching, Zarzutzki played one season at Tennessee Wesleyan University before transferring to Manhattan Christian for three seasons. As a senior, she averaged over 18 points per game as well as receiving All-Conference and All-Region honors. Zarzutzki was also recognized twice as a NCCAA scholar-athlete.

Zarzutzki completed a dual-degree program where she graduated with bachelor’s degrees in Bible & Leadership from Manhattan Christian as and Family Studies & Human Services from Kansas State University. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree with a focus in Sport Management from Southeastern University.

“I am very excited about the addition of Kori to our women’s basketball staff,” said Grinnell head coach Dana Harrold. “Her passion for basketball and strong values make her a great fit for our program. I am looking forward to working with her and seeing her in action as she helps to develop our players and program.”
