Whitney Farris, head coach of IU Kokomo’s women’s basketball team, resigned from her position. Because this is a personnel matter, no additional details will be released. Farris, who played collegiately at Valparaiso, was named as the first-ever women’s basketball coach at IU Kokomo back in 2013. No official word yet on a replacement for Farris, but assistant coach Carlee Cottrell is still on staff.

Additionally, Jace Thompson, head coach of IU Kokomo’s men’s basketball team, has been suspended pending the outcome of a prompt and effective investigation.
