The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, number of months worked, as well as internal equity among our team.

Job Summary:

Assist in all aspects of an NCAA III women’s basketball program including but not limited to recruiting, retention, practice and game management, fundraising, and operations.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree AND either 2 years of coaching experience at the high school, club or collegiate level OR experience playing collegiately.

Required knowledge and skills:

  • Principles, practices, strategy and tactics of assigned athletic activities
  • Computer applications related to work

Skill in:

  • Practice and game planning
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of program goals, objectives, procedures and work standards
  • Assisting in the planning, organizing, and implementing athletic programs and activities
  • Performing coaching duties in an efficient, effective and safe manner
  • Providing advice and counsel in a respectful and effective manner
  • Exercising sound independent judgement within general procedural guidelines
  • Preparing clear, concise and complete reports, correspondence and other written materials
  • Assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands
  • Contributing effectively to the accomplishment of team or work unit goals, objectives and activities
  • Training staff and students in work procedures
  • Establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with coworkers and students; demonstrated success working with diverse populations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Synergy Film experience
  • Prior recruiting experience at either the AAU, NJCAA, NAIA, or NCAA level
  • Knowledge and understanding of NCAA and Division III rules and guidelines
  • Master’s degree
  • Prior coaching experience at the collegiate level
  • Prior coaching experience in an AAU program
