Place commented, “UT-Tyler is impressive – the beautiful campus, the driven students, and the successful athletic department. My passion for coaching centers on working with student-athletes to help them become their best on and off the court. I am excited to work with Coach Mosher and our team to elevate the women’s basketball program to the Division II level.”

Place received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology from Southwestern in 2015. In 2016, she graduated from Sam Houston State University, Summa Cum Laude, obtaining a Master of Science in Kinesiology Sport and Human Performance.
