Sydney Moss joins Bradley Women’s Basketball Staff

Sydney Moss joins the Bradley Braves Women’s Basketball staff as an assistant coach for her first season at Bradley, bringing a decorated résumé as both a player and coach with experience across multiple collegiate levels.

Moss arrives in Peoria following the 2025-26 season at Stetson University, where she helped guide the Hatters to a 20-12 record, the program’s first 20-win season since 2021-22. Stetson advanced to the ASUN Championship semifinals and earned a WNIT berth. She helped develop multiple All-ASUN performers, including Cameron Thomas and Mary McMillan, while contributing to one of the league’s top offensive units.

Prior to Stetson, Moss served as head coach at Wilmington College for two seasons. She guided Cassidy Lovett to Second Team All-OAC honors and the program’s first OAC Defensive Player of the Year award. Moss also previously served as the program’s top assistant, helping lead a 14-12 season and a fifth-place conference finish.

Moss was also the lead assistant at Thomas More University, helping the Saints to back-to-back NAIA national championship game appearances, including a national title in 2022, and a combined 63-6 record. Her coaching career includes additional stops at St. Thomas University (Fla.) and the University of Charleston (W.Va.).

A national champion as both a player and coach, Moss was one of the most accomplished players in NCAA Division III history. After beginning her career at the University of Florida, she starred at Thomas More, earning three National Player of the Year honors and averaging more than 22 points, seven rebounds, and three assists per game.

A native of St. Albans, West Virginia, Moss earned her bachelor’s degree in communication and her master’s degree in ethical leadership from Thomas More University.
