Bridgewater College women’s basketball head coach Sarah Mathews has announced the addition of Danielle Robinson to the coaching staff for the 2019-20 season.

“Danielle will complement our staff well. She brings a unique perspective, recently hanging up her playing sneakers for coaching on the high school and AAU levels,” Mathews said. “Danielle brings a competitiveness that is going to enhance our program. I couldn’t be happier with welcoming her to the Bridgewater family.”

Robinson played high school basketball at Potomac Senior and was one of the top-ranked recruits in the nation. She played three years at Morgan State University and was the team captain during the 2015-16 season.

Robinson has been an assistant high school coach at Potomac Senior and most recently at Lee High School in Springfield, Va. She has also worked as an assistant coach with the CTAB Hoops Elite AAU program.
