During his tenure, Beverly coached five All-Conference players.

“The opportunity to work with Coach Pingeton is priceless,” Beverly said. Her prioritization of Faith, Family and hard work has led to her very long and successful career. I look forward to learning from her and supporting her continued success here at Mizzou”.

Prior to his joining Evangel, Beverly served as the head coach 16U and 14U Nike Girls EYBL Teams in New York. He also served as an assistant coach for the 17U team where he coached four ESPN Top 50 recruits.

“We are extremely excited for Preston to join our staff,” Pingeton said. “He brings a wealth of experience, a high basketball IQ and a great passion for the sport. We found someone that aligns with the core values of the program and displays a tireless work ethic to develop athletes in all aspects of their life. He will be a tremendous addition to our team.”

From 2015-19, Beverly coached at Richard Bland College of William & Mary while also working as the assistant athletic director. He served as an assistant with the men’s program for three seasons before taking over the head role during the 2018-19 year.
