Following up on a report from earlier this week, it’s now been made official that Laura Pruitt will no longer serve  as Director of Athletics and Recreation and Head Women’s Basketball Coach at the College of Mount Saint Vincent. Additionally, Brian Nigro will no longer serve  as Associate Director of Athletics and Head Men’s Basketball Coach.

For the remainder of the 2016-17 season, Mr. Brian Lavelle will serve  as Interim Women’s Basketball Head Coach and Mr. Keith Murray will continue to serve as Assistant Coach. Both Mr. Lavelle and Mr. Murray were members of the women’s basketball staff last season, and Mr. Murray has been an assistant since the 2014-15 season

Thomas (“TJ”) Tibbs, Jr. was appointed interim Head Men’s Basketball Coach. Mr Tibbs has spent the past three seasons as an Assistant Coach Men’s Basketball Coach at Baruch College and previously served as Director of Basketball Operations at Division I New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).
