NAIA DIRT: Ray out as Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Oklahoma Panhandle State

I can confirm that Greg Ray is out as the head women’s basketball coach at NAIA Oklahoma Pan Handle State University, and Maria Wiltzius has taken over on an interim basis for the remainder of the season.

Ray was hired at OPSU back in 2022 after serving as the associate head coach at Seward County CC. He has also worked as an assistant at Chicago State and Central Methodist. OPSU went 3-22 last season, and the Aggies are currently 0-8 this season.

Wiltzius was hired as the SID at OPSU back in March of 2023 after serving as an assistant coach at William Woods University. She also spent time as an assistant at Bay College.

No reason has been given for the change.
