Mizzou’s Pingeton nabs 500th career victory

Missouri Women’s Basketball (18-7, 7-4) cruised to a 69-46 victory over Vanderbilt (6-17, 1-9) on Sunday afternoon at Mizzou Arena. With the win, head coach Robin Pingeton recorded her 500th career victory as the Tiger improved to 6-0 at Mizzou in SEC play. She now has 165 victories during her seven plus seasons at Missouri. Among active head coaches, she stands in second place in the SEC and 32nd overall among Division-I head coaches. She also spent seven seasons as the head coach at Illinois State (144-81), and eight seasons as the head coach at St. Ambrose (191-76).
