Description:

Responsible for adhering to all rules and regulations associated with the NJCAA and the sport of women’s basketball. He/she has primary responsibility for recruiting and training eligible players, organizing, implementing, coordinating and supervising all aspects of the team sport and for attending and running practices and games


Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree and two years high school or college coaching experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Knowledge of good practice pertaining to sport techniques, rules and regulations
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills, organizational ability and effective teaching/coaching skills
  • Basic CPR/first aid knowledge and competence in athletics injury prevention
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a team and build team relationships
  • Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population
  • Previous coaching experience preferred.

Additional Information:

Salary Range for Head Coach: $5,000.00 – $6,000.00 based on experience (Seasonal)

Salary Range for Assistant Coach: $1,650.00-$2,200.00 based on experience (Seasonal)
