Responsible for the organization and administration of all facets of the women’s basketball program to ensure a quality program and successful Division 1 team. Recruits athletes and oversees their training. Monitors and supports academic success of student athletes. Builds and maintains a public awareness of the program. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Five years progressively responsible experience coaching basketball at the collegiate level. Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA rules. Commitment to student athletes’ academic success. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver’s license and ability to establish driver eligibility under the University’s Driving and Motor Vehicle Policy.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree. Successful head coaching and recruiting experience in collegiate basketball. Familiarity with the Midwest. Demonstrated commitment to diversity. Coaching experience in a metropolitan college/university environment.
