Description:
Texas State University, a member of the Sun Belt Conference, is seeking applications for the position of Director of Player Personnel for Women’s Basketball. This position is a full-time benefits eligible position and reports to the Head Coach for Women’s Basketball
Duties Position duties include: overseeing and assisting with the day to day personal needs and matters with Student-Athletes; responsible for monitoring academic progress of Women’s Basketball Student Athletes; assist in the development and implementation of public relations, marketing and fundraising initiatives for the program; assist the Director of Basketball Operations with managing financial aspects of the Women’s Basketball program, including but not limited to budget, travel, operations, etc; serve as a liaison for Women’s Basketball to compliance, academics, business office and other support departments; comply with all applicable NCAA, Conference and Texas State University rules and regulations; and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach
Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.
  • Prior experience with basketball program
  • Prior experience with technology; including video, video editing, graphic design and social media platforms
  • Knowledge of NCAA Rules and Regulations
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors’ degree with additional consideration to applicants who possess a Masters degree.
