Jessica Wall Named Director of Basketball Operations at UNC Asheville

UNC Asheville Head Women’s Basketball Coach Honey Brown announced the addition of former Bulldog Jessica Wall as the program’s new Director of Basketball Operations on Monday. Wall, who played for the Bulldogs from 2015 to 2019, will work behind the scenes with video, scouting, and travel arrangements, among other duties.

“We are very excited to have Jessica join our staff as a volunteer director of operations,” said Brown. “She was able to gain valuable experience this past season at Lynchburg University as a graduate assistant. Jessica was a tremendous player who knows our program and myself very well. She has always been a hard worker, and I know she will do a great job!”

Wall, a native of Chapel Hill, N.C., was a three-year starter and a standout member of the Bulldogs’ women’s basketball team. She finished her career as UNC Asheville’s all-time leader in three-pointers made with 231. Wall also holds the program’s single-season and single-game records for made three-pointers. As a senior, Wall was UNC Asheville’s Female Athlete of the Year and was an All-Big South Honorable Mention selection. During her time in Asheville, Wall helped the Bulldogs to a pair of Big South Conference titles and two appearances in the NCAA tournament. The program made postseason appearances in each of her four seasons.
