Tim Hendrixson, who has been a recognizable presence at Sterling College, will transition from his position as an assistant women’s basketball coach to his new role as Assistant Athletic Director of Operations. Hendrixson holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Sport Management from Sterling College where he also played basketball as a student athlete. After graduation he served as an admissions counselor from 2019 to 2022 before transitioning to his role of assistant women’s basketball coach from 2022-2026.

During his time with the women’s basketball team, he furthered his education by earning a Master’s of Science in Sports Administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2024. This summer, Hendrixson officially assume his new responsibilities with the athletic department.

“First I want to thank VP of Athletic, Justin Morris, and President Scott Rich for allowing me to take this next step in my career. I am looking forward to serving the coaches, athletes, campus, and the community in a variety of different ways. I will miss coaching, but I am excited to start my role in administration,” Hendrixson said. “Sterling College is a special place, and I am looking forward to sharing the impact it can have with our students and staff.”
