Emmanuel College Head Coach Andy Yosinoff Wins 800th Career Game

Emmanuel College Women’s Basketball Head Coach Andrew Yosinoff joined elite company on Saturday afternoon with his 800th career coaching victory as Emmanuel topped host Albertus Magnus College, 100-94, in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action in New Haven, Conn. Yosinoff becomes just the 14th NCAA Women’s Basketball coach to win 800 games and just the second at the NCAA Division III level to hit the milestone.

YOSINOFF IN THE RECORD BOOKS

  • Yosinoff joins the ranks of Pat Summitt, Tara VanDerveer, Geno Auriemma, Sylvia Hatchell, Barbra Stevens, Vivian Stringer, Jody Conradt, Jim Foster, Robin Selvig, Andy Landers, Muffett McGraw, Curt Fredrickson and Michael Strong as the only NCAA Women’s Basketball Coaches to surpass 800 wins.

  • Yosinoff currently ranks second all-time among NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball coaches with 800 wins and is now just 15 wins shy of tying Michael Strong’s D-III record of 815 career wins.

  • All 800 coaching wins have come at Emmanuel College making Yosinoff one of only nine coaches to win 800 or more games at the same institution.
