CSUSB Announces Change In Leadership In Women’s Basketball Program

CSU San Bernardino’s Director of Athletics Shawn Farrell announced today that Susan Crebbin will no longer serve as head women’s basketball coach.

“There is a change in leadership in our women’s basketball program,” said Farrell. “I believe we have tremendous potential.”

Crebbin has led the Coyotes the past four seasons, after coming from San Bernardino Valley College in the summer of 2015. Her teams advanced to the CCAA Tournament in her first two seasons. She had eight student-athletes selected to the All-CCAA team in her tenure.

This past season the Yotes went 10-16 and 9-13 in the CCAA.

“I would like to thank Sue Crebbin and her staff for their work these past four years,” said Farrell. “I wish Sue the very best in her future.”

CSUSB is conducting a national search that will begin right away and in the interim, Tom Trokey will continue leading the program.

“I am confident there will be strong interest in the position and we will hire an outstanding head coach. I am very excited about our future,” said Farrell.
