The Bemidji State University women’s basketball program added another piece to the puzzle as Head Coach Chelsea DeVille announced the hiring of Clint Neumann as an assistant coach.
Neumann joins the Bemidji State women’s basketball team after serving on the University of Minnesota men’s basketball staff as team manager since 2014. While with the Gophers, Neumann prepared gyms for practice, individual workouts and games, as well as managing film needs for the coaching staff and team. The Gophers finished the 2014-15 season with an 18-15 record.
Neumann previously served in various coaching roles including Head Coach of Minnesota Heat AAU and freshmen baseball coach at Mounds View High School. He was in charge of creating practice schedules, coordinating preseason meetings, managing playing time for players, analyzing player statistics and writing post-game recaps.
He joins DeVille and assistant coach Sam Sikkink on the Beaver women’s basketball coaching staff.
Neumann completed his bachelor’s degree in sport management with a minor in coaching from the University of Minnesota in 2015.
