Bradley Women’s Basketball Head Coach Andrea Gorski Receives Contract Extension

Bradley University Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Chris Reynolds has announced Bradley Women’s Basketball Head Coach Andrea Gorski has signed a multi-year contract extension, pushing her contract through the 2023-24 season.

Gorski has led the Braves to an improved record in each of her first three seasons on the Bradley bench and has joined Angela Back as the only coaches in program history to lead the Braves to an improved win total in each of their first three seasons.

During Gorski’s tenure, Bradley has produced a trio of First-Team all-MVC performers after the Braves had a combined three first-team all-league selections in the 15 years prior to her return to The Hilltop.

This past season was one for the record books for the Braves, with Gorski leading Bradley to its best season in a decade.  The Braves started off the year by matching the longest win streak in program history (9 games) and went 10-1 in non-conference action as Bradley finished with its highest non-conference win total.  The best MVC record (10-8) since 2009-10 helped the Braves post their best league finish (5th) dating back to that same season, with Bradley earning its first 20-win season (20-10) in a decade (2008-09).

The 2018-19 campaign also resulted in Bradley boasting a pair of First-Team All-MVC performers in the same season for the first time in program history, in addition to the 2018-19 MVC Freshman of the Year in Lasha Patree.
