Baylor WBB Announces Addition to Operations Staff

Baylor head women’s basketball coach Kim Mulkey announced Jordin Westbrook as the associate director of operations Monday. Westbrook returns to the program after serving as an undergraduate manager from 2009-13.

Westbrook hails from Zionsville, Ind. where she played high school basketball at Zionsville High School. After graduation, she earned two degrees from Baylor, a bachelor’s in Fine Arts in December of 2013 and a master’s in education in December of 2015.

“We are excited to have Jordin back with the program,” said Mulkey. “She was an outstanding contributor to our program as an undergraduate student and I know she will continue to develop into a great young professional.”

After leaving the Lady Bears program in 2013, she worked at Waco Methodist Home where she coached basketball and track, she served as graduate assistant for SMG at McLane Stadium beginning in 2014 before attaining a full-time position with SMG in January of 2016.

There, she oversaw the daily function of Baylor’s McLane Stadium as it relates to Baylor Athletic events, outside special events, safety & security and its tenants. In addition, Westbrook began her own business, JW Events, Inc. where she coordinated, planned and designed special events & weddings in the Central Texas and Indianapolis areas.

Westbrook began July 1 and replaces Kaylin Rice, who was promoted to an assistant coach this summer.
