Description:

Bucknell University is currently looking for our next Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach/Manager of Basketball Operations. This role is responsible for administrative support of an NCAA Division I program, working within the guidelines, rules, and regulations of Bucknell University, the NCAA, and the Conference. Assists with on-court coaching responsibilities during practices and competitions, as well as assisting throughout the student-athlete recruiting process.

  • Assists the head women’s basketball coach in the organization and administration of all phases of a Division I women’s basketball program.
  • Assists with player training, including developing and implementing competitive performance strategies and practices
  • Manages inventory and ordering team equipment
  • Provides academic guidance and support to players
  • Ensures that players, equipment, and facilities are well-prepared and organized
  • Scouts new recruits and collaborates with the head coach to guide prospective student-athletes. Coordinates travel arrangements for coaches
  • Assists in making schedules, travel arrangements and travels with team to competitions
  • Prepares for special events, including facility reservations, set-up, meal coordination, registration and other needs.
