Roger Williams University Athletics announced that Michelle Spreda has been elevated to Women’s Basketball Associate Head Coach.

Spreda has been a cornerstone of the Hawks’ women’s basketball program for the past seven years, serving as assistant coach under Head Coach Kelly Thompson. She has been instrumental in the team’s sustained success.

“For the past seven years, Michelle Spreda has been an invaluable asset to our program,” Thompson said. “Her loyalty, tireless work ethic, and ability to connect with our athletes have made her an exceptional assistant coach. She is an outstanding teacher and a phenomenal recruiter, and I couldn’t ask for a better right-hand woman. Her promotion to Associate Head Coach is well-deserved, and I am thrilled to continue our work together.”
