Ouachita Baptist University Director of Athletics David Sharp has announced that head women’s basketball coach Robert Dallimore has decided to step away from the program to pursue other opportunities.
Dallimore recently finished his fifth season leading the Tigers. During his tenure, he led the team to three Great American Conference tournament appearances, advancing as far as the semifinals in 2023 in the program’s first winning season in 10 years. He coached six All-GAC selections and one all-region honoree, including two 1,000-point scorers and the league’s freshman of the year in 2021-22.
“On behalf of the university, we are thankful to Coach Dallimore for his leadership of our women’s basketball program the last five years,” said Sharp. “We wish him nothing but the best in the future.”
The search for a new head coach is underway. Inquiries should be sent to [email protected].
