Budget title: Instructional Support Associate (SL-2)

Salary: $32,000 (65% part-time, temporary)

Binghamton University is a NCAA Division I institution in the America East Conference, located in Binghamton, NY with 21 intercollegiate athletic teams. Binghamton University is currently seeking a Director of Operations, Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. Duties include:

Responsible for social media platforms
Handle organization of practice and set-up for the Women’s Basketball program
Manage facilities issues (locker room, lighting system, baskets, film room, etc.)
Supervise team managers
Supervise and recruits practice players
Coordinate Community Service projects with women’s basketball student-athletes
Coordinate team travel
Assist with recruiting mailouts
Assist Head Coach with schedule
Responsible for assisting in conducting a comprehensive, high quality NCAA Division I athletics program within the guidelines of all rules and policies established by the department, the institution, the State of New York, the conference, and the NCAA, in accordance with the academic standards and the stated mission of Binghamton University and the Intercollegiate Athletic Department. These duties include assisting in instruction, conducting practice and teaching skill development, game planning, film review, recruiting, budget management, team travel, scheduling, and serving as an academic advising liaison.

Experience working in a college athletics department
