Nebraska Wesleyan tabs Bullock as Interim Head Women’s Basketball Coach

Nebraska Wesleyan University has named Tyler Bullock as the Interim Head Women’s Basketball Coach.

Nebraska Wesleyan athletic director Dwight Merilatt had high praise for Bullock and what he can bring to the Prairie Wolf program moving forward.

“I am excited that Tyler is joining the Prairie Wolves as our Interim Head Women’s Basketball Coach,” Merilatt said. “His experience as a coach and a professional basketball player will be a great opportunity for our team to learn and grow under his leadership this season.”

Bullock joins the Nebraska Wesleyan athletic department after serving as the Director of Basketball Operations and Assistant Basketball Coach at the University of Nebraska Omaha. Before making the transition to the Mavericks coaching staff, Bullock assisted in team fundraising, organized and promoted events for families, players, and the community, and was the primary contact for the men’s basketball strength training and conditioning program. As an assistant coach, Bullock provided training and practice schedules for his athletes and was responsible for recruiting prospective student-athletes.

Prior to his time at the University of Nebraska Omaha, Bullock played professional basketball for the Wilkes-Barre Steamers and London Lightning. He graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in General Studies and Business.
