The Northwood University women’s basketball team has named Jake Voelker as an assistant coach.
“I am super excited to add Jake to our coaching staff,” said Head Coach Autumn Haggadone. “He is someone I have known and trusted for a lot of years. Jake brings great energy and tactile intelligence of the game to coaching at the next level.
“He also has a lot of experience with recruiting contacts in the state of Michigan. We are thrilled to have Jake at Northwood.”
Voelker has spent the past seven seasons as a coach with the Michigan Mystics AAU program. He also has served as an assistant for the Goodrich High School varsity program for the past four years.
Northwood is coming off an 18-10 season in 2021-22. They will open the 22-23 season against rival Saginaw Valley November 11.
