Walker Added To St. Lawrence University Women’s Basketball Coaching Staff

Zenoviah Walker joined the St. Lawrence University women’s basketball coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach in August 2021.

A graduate from Transylvania University in 2021, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in health and exercise science. She competed as a four-year varsity athlete on the women’s basketball team and earned First-Team ALL-HCAC in 2021. Walker had appeared twice in the NCAA tournament, including an appearance in the Sweet 16. Walker was a 2020-21 HCAC NCAA Woman of the Year nominee and ended her collegiate career earning the 2021 Transylvania Senior Female Leadership of the Year award.

“Our program is ecstatic to have Zenoviah join us,” said head coach Dan Roiger. “Her character really stood out and her references gave me examples time after time about how she helped out the campus, team, and teammates overcome challenges they faced throughout her career at Transylvania. On top of that, she is a very accomplished player having won conference championships year after year and going to the NCAA every season possible.  All while playing the position of point guard, which has to be able to identify the situation and strategy necessary throughout a game.  I know she is very competitive from her coach, and I’m looking forward to her bringing that attitude to our team and helping them face the unknown obstacles that any season will bring.  I can’t wait for her to get started with our players!”

Walker brings several years of coaching experience to the position, having served as a camp instructor for the Transylvania University Nike Camp from 2017-20.
