Catawba College Director of Athletics, Larry Leckonby, has announced that Terence McCutcheon has been promoted to Head Women’s Basketball Coach. McCutcheon has been serving as the Interim Head Coach since early February.

“Terence has done an excellent job guiding the team over the past month,” stated Leckonby. “He has earned the chance to be the head coach going forward.”

Under McCutcheon, the women’s team has posted a 6-2 record heading into the first round of the South Atlantic Conference Tournament. Catawba is the fifth seed for the tournament and will travel to Newberry for a 7 p.m. tip-off.
