Diablo Valley College has placed head women’s basketball coach Ramaundo Vaughn on paid administrative leave. The college issued a statement in which they announced that Vaughn is on leave pending the completion of an investigation into a personnel matter.
DVC is currently 22-5 and headed to the 3rd round of the CCCAA State Playoffs on Saturday. According to the college, they are “unable to comment further while the investigation is ongoing, but is releasing this statement because we recognize that this is a successful high profile program entering the State Championships.”
Vaughn has been the head coach of the Vikings since 2011. Last season, his squad went 32-1 and captured the CCCAA State Championship.
