Under the direct supervision of the Women’s Basketball Head Coach the director of operations handles oversight of day-to-day operations and administration; acting as program liaison to alumni, parents, and other departments, such as Sports Information, Marketing, and Recruiting; assisting with game-day operations and travel management; working with Assistant Coach and Manager to organize team apparel and uniforms; coordinating and maintaining annual budget; and helping to facilitate and manage summer camps; working with development and courtside work with Sports information to build team social media accounts. Requires traveling with team and attending home games and, hence, evenings and weekend hours are required. Traveling with the team is mandatory for all away games. In addition, work with the head coaches and sport supervisors. Develop proposals for facilities upgrades, submit and maintain budgets, and coordinate with DIA Business & Finance for approval.
