The Assistant Women’s Basketball coach is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the ongoing recruitment of student-athletes for the sport of Women’s basketball at Life University.

Responsibilities:

1. Assists the Women’s Head Basketball coach in the following:
2. All correspondence between coaches, students, and parents in regard to potential visits by athletes to Life University.
3. Must have a high level of proficiency with regard to using video analysis as a teaching tool. Oversee all preparation, coding, and feedback with regards to the video analysis approach within the program.
4. Must possess an outward and energized personality with regard to community and campus events. High energy individual
5. Coordinate and supervise off season training regimen and skill development program
6. Prepare and monitor program budget.
7. Oversee scholarship distribution to student athletes with a proven history in fiscal responsibility.
8. Oversee high school recruiting.
9. Prepare schedule
10. Coaching & supervising daily practices.
11. Organize team travel (vehicles/hotels/meals/practices).
12. Organize and manage successful youth summer camps
13. Perform team related administrative duties.
14. Assist with preparing and filing eligibility forms.
15. Ensure academic compliance within the athletic department policies and procedures.
16. Monitor class attendance policy.
17. Plan and execute fundraising initiatives
18. Maintain & order necessary equipment for the program.
19. Maintain and update athletic department website information related to your sport.
20. Coordinate with Sports Information Director to post meet results/stories.
21. Plan and schedule NAIA Champions of Character activities.
22. Demonstrated ability to work with peers/fellow coaches within the department in a team environment
