The Assistant Coach is housed within Athletics and will report directly to the Head Coach. The Assistant Coach will assist in providing vision, leadership and oversight for all aspects of the women’s basketball program, as directed by the Head Coach. The person in this position will demonstrate a strong commitment to academic achievement of student-athletes by monitoring their academic status and progress towards graduation or transfer. This position will assist in ensuring compliance with rules and regulations as established by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) and its Council for Athletic Affairs (CAA), the Panhandle Conference and Tallahassee Community College. This position will assist in recruiting, training and coaching student-athletes participating on the women’s basketball team, mentoring the women’s basketball student-athletes. Other duties include maintenance and upkeep of basketball facility and assists in camps, as needed.
