The University of Minnesota, Morris, Intercollegiate Athletics seeks an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach/Assistant Equipment Manager. This position is a 75% time, 10 month annually renewable position with full benefits reporting to the Director of Athletics.

The Assistant Coach is responsible for providing support to all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division Ill women’s basketball program that advances the mission of intercollegiate athletics and the University. The assistant coach assists the head coach in student recruiting and retention efforts; coaches student athletes and fosters their skill development; assists in coaching plans and implementation at practices and competitions; provides for students’ safety, health and well being; complies with NCAA, UMAC and university policies; provides sound fiscal management; assists in equipment oversight, scheduling, travel planning, and summer camps; assists in off-season programs and athlete development; and assists in program communication and fundraising efforts with the Head Coach.
