The University of Virginia Department of Athletics seeks to fill the position of Video Coordinator for Women’s Basketball.

The Video Coordinator position exists to provide support for the audio, video and technology needs of the Women’s Basketball program. The Women’s Basketball program uses video extensively to teach student-athletes the intricacies of the game and prepare student-athletes for upcoming games. Responsibilities include: live coding of games; capturing video of upcoming opponents; coding and editing video, after games of opponents and Virginia, for individual and team development per coaches instructions; creating video for individual and team development per coaches instructions; editing individual and team highlight video; fulfillment of video exchange per Atlantic Coast Conference rules and for programs outside the conference; videotaping practice; assisting with the creation of scouting reports; creating content for social media; overseeing the student video manager and graduate assistant with various projects; producing video content for official athletics sites (for internal and external use); and fulfilling miscellaneous duties when necessary.
