Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Assist in coaching an intercollegiate basketball team; utilize coaching and teaching methods to develop student athletes’ skills and teamwork.
• Assist with the development of game strategy; analyze performance of student athletes; scout opponents.
• Scout and recruit student athletes.
• Assist in fund raising activities to subsidize the basketball program; may assist in marketing and public relations activities to promote the program; perform community relations activities.
• Counsel and advise student athletes with personal and academic problems.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
