Our Athletics Department is currently looking for an energetic and knowledgeable individual to fill our Assistant Coach – Woman’s Basketball Position. Primary Function: The individual will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach with recruiting, game and practice planning, scouting opponents, team and individual skill development, strength and conditioning, budget and travel arrangements. Individual will also be responsible for monitoring student-athlete success in the classroom through degree completion. Applicant will be knowledgeable of the rules and policies related to the NAIA, North Star Athletic Association and Bellevue University. Other duty responsibilities will be in the Residence and Student Life department. Qualifications/Skills: •Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field. •Prior collegiate playing experience, preferred •Previous coaching experience in sport, preferred. •Knowledge of rules and regulations for sport. •Ability to build rapport with students and coaches. •Ability to communicate in a clear concise manner. •Valid driver’s license with good driving record to be insured by the University’s Insurance Carrier.
