Cindy Hilbrich resigned today from her position as Head Women’s Basketball Coach at the University of Montevallo.

Hilbrich took over the women’s basketball program in April 2011 and coached the Falcons to a 38-90 record during her five seasons as head coach. Hilbrich led Montevallo to the Peach Belt Conference Tournament during the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons.

“We want to thank Cindy for her hard work and commitment over the past five years,” said Montevallo Athletic Director Mark Richard.

A national search for a new head women’s basketball coach will begin immediately.
