Loyola University Maryland head coach Joe Logan announced that Noah Saag will join the women’s basketball program as the director of basketball operations for the 2015-16 season.
Saag, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, recently spent two years as the graduate manager with the Northwestern University men’s basketball program.
Saag executed all team practices and game coordination at Northwestern, including travel arrangements and online recruiting management. He also worked closely with the coaching staff to prepare scouting reports and film sessions. In his last year with the Wildcats, Saag led an effort to develop and execute the Coach Collins Basketball Camps and Coaching Clinics.
Prior to earning his master’s in sports administration at Northwestern, Saag graduated from Indiana University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology. During his time in Bloomington, Indiana, Saag worked as a marketing intern in the Hoosiers’ athletic department. As a junior, he worked with the Coach Hep Cancer Challenge to create and implement a marketing campaign to raise awareness for the cause.
